Ways to Walk With Us
Every Role Helps Hold the Journey.
Some people come to walk. Some walk beside others. Some help guide the rhythm or care for the trail. These roles are forms of service—not ranks or measures of spiritual importance.
Journey Partner
Walk beside someone without taking over their path.
A Journey Partner offers presence, encouragement, and accountability. Partners listen, check in, and help one another remain connected between gatherings. They are not counselors, spiritual authorities, or substitutes for professional care.
Journey Guide
Hold the gathering with clarity and humility.
A Journey Guide welcomes participants, communicates the rhythm, facilitates Scripture and reflection, watches the group’s needs, and protects the invitational character of the experience. Guides complete preparation and agree to the Leadership Covenant.
Trail Steward
Help care for people, place, and practical safety.
A Trail Steward supports route readiness, check-in, pacing, headcounts, Leave No Trace practices, and communication with the Journey Guide. Stewards help the group move responsibly without presenting themselves as medical or rescue professionals unless separately qualified.
Begin where you are
There is room to participate before there is a title.
You may attend first, volunteer with practical needs, express interest in serving, or begin a conversation about future leadership. Formation comes before assignment.
