Guides

Meet your trail guide.

Nathaniel A’mon is currently our only guide. A guide helps the group understand the route, walk together, and make room for conversation, quiet, and prayer.

My vision for the trail

Make room for the person beside you.

I want our walks to be places where people of different backgrounds can move together, be heard, and notice what God may be revealing in their own lives. We’ll build that through thoughtful routes, honest conversation, and room for silence. As we grow, I want future guides to learn through walking with us, serving alongside others, and living the covenant.

What a guide does

Before we walk

Share the route, pace, meetup, and preparation details, and welcome people at check-in.

On the trail

Keep the group oriented, communicate changes, and make space for Selah and reflection.

At the close

Offer a closing prayer or reflection and help the group leave together with care.

Where the role ends

A guide does not provide therapy, medical advice, individual spiritual direction, or guaranteed rescue. Each walker chooses their level of participation.

Help your guide help the group.

RSVP accurately, read the preparation notes, arrive on time, and tell the guide privately if something affects your ability to walk. Stay with the group and communicate before leaving. You can also offer check-in, carpool coordination, or trail stewardship through Volunteer & Serve.
