Desert trail beneath a wide, cloud-filled sky

About A Hike with God

About A Hike With God

Faith, Creation, and a Community That Walks Together.

We are not just hiking. We are slowing down, listening, reflecting, building community, and discovering God’s presence through creation.

Why we walk

We create space.

Walking changes the way a conversation unfolds. The body moves, the mind opens, and silence no longer feels empty. Nature reminds us that growth has seasons, paths take time, and not everything meaningful happens where it can be immediately seen.

We walk because reflection does not always need a classroom. Community does not always need four walls. Faith does not always arrive as an answer. Sometimes it begins as a step, a question, a shared silence, or the willingness to keep moving.

“Remember roots grow in darkness. And so do you.”

— Nathaniel A’mon

Our purpose

Guidance without pressure.

Our purpose is to create welcoming outdoor experiences where people can slow down, listen inwardly, engage one another honestly, and recognize how God may already be present in their journey.

We honor both conversation and silence. We encourage people to walk together without expecting everyone’s journey to look the same.

What we believe about the journey

Growth can begin before it becomes visible.

We believe the trail can teach us about patience, humility, endurance, presence, and trust. We believe faith should produce love, and community should make room for people rather than pressure them to perform.

“You plant the seed and God makes it grow.”

— Nathaniel A’mon

How we walk together

A community shaped by welcome, listening, and care.

  • Welcome and encourage one another.
  • Respect each person and protect what is shared.
  • Practice Selah and care for creation.
  • Walk together and trust God.

Created by Guided Warriors

A shared mission with room to breathe.

A Hike With God is an experience created by Guided Warriors, a community committed to helping people move toward greater balance, connection, purpose, and growth. The hike gives that mission a place to breathe—outdoors, in motion, and alongside others.

An invitation

Come exactly as you are.

You do not have to arrive certain. You do not have to know what to say. You do not have to share more than you choose. You are invited to walk with openness, respect the experiences of others, and allow the journey to meet you where you are.
